Pairing is done entirely inside the SONUSYNC app. Hold the off button on the remote for 5 seconds to put it into pairing mode — your remote will then show up as an available device in the app. Select it to connect, then choose which Sonos speaker you want to assign to buttons 1, 2, and 3. You can also assign multiple speakers to the same button — useful when you have several speakers grouped together in one room.
